For a healthier future …
UT Health Services (UTHS) is a primary care provider and part of the faculty clinical practice of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Nursing. Nurse practitioners provide most of the care at UTHS. A physician is available for consultation or to meet any additional medical needs.
We pride ourselves in providing premier health services for individuals or commercial contracts, educational opportunities for students and support for innovative research endeavors. UTHS offers high-quality, cost-effective ambulatory health care on a fee-for-service basis and also contracts with companies and organizations for clinic services.
Quality • Access • Value
In today’s fast-changing healthcare marketplace, patients look not just for the best care, but also for convenience and affordability. Families want to pay minimum cost sharing and out of pocket expenses. Both businesses and public-sector employers want to control costs while encouraging wellness throughout their workforce. Since 1991, UTHS has been meeting the primary care needs of individual patients as well as the cost-effectiveness standards of corporate and institutional clients.
For your safety and convenience, UTHS uses an electronic health record and participates in a national database for outcomes and health services research. UTHS is located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center, but only minutes from downtown via MetroRail’s Red Line and across the street from the TMC Transit Center. The building also offers pay covered parking.
UTHS accepts Workers’ Compensation Insurance for work-related injury cases. UTHS also is listed as a Primary Care Provider (PCP) with most health insurance plans and accepts Medicare.
