Primary Care

Your Health Care Home

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and physicians at UT Health Services provide primary care to support your wellness goals and health needs. From prevention to disease management, our providers will provide holistic care and address what’s important to you.

An ounce of prevention

Whether you need a check up or are preparing for a trip abroad, UT Health Services can help keep you healthy and prevent illnesses. Our preventive services include:

Not feeling well today?

Runny noses, sore throats, tummy troubles, itchy rashes, minor injuries – these are just a few of the common ailments we all experience from time to time. As your health care home, UT Health Services provides treatment for unexpected issues that leave you temporarily under the weather.

Managing your health

Living with a chronic illness doesn’t mean you can’t live well. Our providers can help you manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, hypothyroidism, and more.

Established patients of UT Health Services may choose convenient telehealth visits when an in-person appointment is not required. Telehealth can be used for check-ins for chronic conditions, medication management, follow-ups, and other ongoing health needs. Your provider can help you decide if telehealth is right for you.

Need a specialist?

As part of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, UT Health Services refers patients needing specialized care to UT Physicians and other Houston-area providers. In many cases, we can conveniently refer you to a specialist located in our building.
